The name “Naguwashi” is an old Japanese adjective used in praise of the land, conveying notions of beauty and wonder. Each rice variety used in this series is meticulously selected and treated with the utmost care, so as to make all best qualities stand out. Along with its rich and floral taste, the label design is based on the motif of cotton paper (Shide), which has been traditionally used to ward off evil spirits.
